Without a doubt, school is important. What can be argued as more important is finding a life outside of the daily grind of academics to apply different sets of skills to further improve myself. Coming to New York City, I knew I had an opportunity to really branch out and take on opportunities that I wouldn’t normally have access to in other cities.
